“Journey” is a prototype pop/rock band of the late seventies and eighties and represented the AOR culture of the decade. Considered as one of the best selling bands of all time and with numerous hit singles, their incredible journey into the rock world is worth praise to all.
Mostly successful between 1978 to 1987, they have had numerous gold, multi-platinum as well as diamond albums. Formed by former “Santana” members Neal Schon (Lead guitar) and Gregg Rolie (Keyboards/vocals) and former “Frumious Bandersnatch” members Ross Valory (Bass) and George Tickner (Guitar) along with Prairie Prince (Drums) of “The Tubes”, they formed “Journey” in 1973 in San Francisco.
