Famous as a British boogie rock band, Status Quo was formed originally by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster in 1962. After various line-up changes and with the addition of Rick Parfitt in 1967, they ultimately became Status Quo in 1969. They have had numerous hits and are famous for evergreen numbers like “In the army now”, “Rockin’ all over the world”, “Pictures of matchstick men”, “Whatever you want”, “Down down” etc to name a few. Actually, they hold the Guinness Book of World Records for maximum number of UK Hit Singles (61) than any other band in history.
